can two artists share a table?
Yes, Lauren — in fact, it’s encouraged! We have limited space so it’s really great if we can fit two artists in the space of one! 🙂

What are the dimensions of the spaces?
Thanks!
Gloria
They vary, Gloria! We’re assigning spaces to vendors as needed. Just be sure to specify on your application what you need… no space is larger than 8’x8′. Some will be premium spaces along walls that will be appx. 7-8 feet long, but not as deep. We also have slightly smaller spaces available downstairs for $10 off the vendor fee. Hope that helps! -aud

any chance of squeezing in one last 4×4 space?
Hi Angela,
Thanks for your note! At present we’re jam-packed in the space but I’ll hope you’ll come visit, meet this season’s vendors, and apply for our next event!
Do you have a mailing list for next year? I just found you following a trail of breadcrumbs from Herbal Revolution on FB and would love to apply next year : )
How did this year’s show go?
Nan
Hi Nan — I will add you to the mailing list for the next event! The show on the 16th was amazing, we were really happy to see it be such a success – lots of vendors, organizers and customers came together to make a really special day!

darn it! i will be in chicago that weekend. 😦 boo that!
d’oh!
Wondering if you’ve filled all of your spots. I have an enormous collection of lamps, figural and funky, some from the sixties like a spaghetti ball lucite, and a fabulous pole lamp from the sixties/seventies, along with a bowling pin and ball lamp, and ceramic dice, a cowboy and cowgirl, some filligreed brass hanging idol lamps, a bullfighter etc.. Maybe 25 in all and would love the opportunity to offer them at your sale. They would appeal to men and women alike.
Another enormous collection (big black trunk full) of religious, Mary and Jesus type collectibles, crosses and lamps and wall hangings and plaques (heavy on the mother of pearl) and last supper puzzle and snow domes etc.
I would set up with either one collection or the other. I think they’d compliment the spirit of the event, offering “illumination” for the coming winter.
I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date! I’d be very grateful to squeeze in!
Hi Stefani! Your items sound awesome! Right now we’re full to the gills and have a handful of people on the waiting list, as well. If you’d like to subscribe via email (you can do this on the side bar to the right, at the top of the page) then you will receive an email announcement when we hold our “Big Thaw” event in April or early May – feel free to send me an email at: thebigthawportland at gmail dot com if you have any questions!

is there a cost to apply or to enter this winter fair as a craftsperson/vendor?
Hi Kathryn, yes — the vendor fee is $60 and is only charged if you participate in the event – we do not have an ‘application fee.’
